Moshava Alevy Camp Registrar

The Camp Registrar is often the first point of contact at Moshava Alevy for campers and families who are registering for camp or calling in with questions. He or she is indispensable as a connection with our camper families, as an office manager, and as an account manager. The Camp Registrar must be able to work from our Running Springs campsite from mid-June to mid-August; they can reside on campus or commute.

Responsibilities:

Camper Recruitment and Registration
-Manage camper inquiries
-Schedule and coordinate Open House and School visits
-Configure camper application
-Secure and Process camper registrations in a timely manner
-Produce registration reports
-Manage scholarships

Camper Account Management
-Invoice camper families
-Prepare bank deposits
-Maintain the Moshava Alevy camper database
-Secure and Process payments in a timely manner
-Oversee camper travel, including booking of buses to/from camp

Staff Account Management
-Manage staff records, including travel, forms, and payment
-Maintain records of all previous years’ staff evaluations
-Maintain the Moshava Alevy staff database
-Manage staff inquiries
-Oversee staff travel, including booking of buses to/from camp

Office Management
-Serve as camp receptionist
-Customer Service: provide camp information to camp families and respond via email and phone to camper inquiries
-Answer questions on customer accounts from camper families and assist with camper registration
-Oversee the distribution of all mass communication
-Manage Constant Contact contacts
-Update website
-Represent Moshava Alevy at events (Open Houses and Community Fairs)
-Assist sales, marketing, personnel, and other areas of Bnei Akiva of Los Angeles
-Record donations made to Bnei Akiva of Los Angeles
-Scan, file and organize documents
-General office upkeep: supply ordering, organization and upkeep of facilities

Qualifications:
-Strong knowledge of Google Drive and Microsoft programs
-The ability to learn new programs used at Moshava Alevy, including the Moshava Alevy website, and camper management database programs
-Excellent writing skills
-Exceptional customer service skills
-Excellent phone and email communication skills
-Ability to perform general office duties (filing, answering the phone, word processing, copying, mailing, organizing and running all the mechanics of the office)
-Valid driver’s license and excellent driving record. Must be able to drive Moshava Alevy vehicles on occasional errands.
-Can assist with special events outside of regular work hours
